Pass without Trace spell inquiry

Friends

This query is in regards to the 1st level Plant sphere (I added it to Travelers, too) spell for priests. In the description it says that the spell basically masks both scent and footprints. Even though the spell does NOT specifically state that other 'traces of passage' are masked, it seems to my line of reasoning that the spell could/would do so.

For instance, I would offer that this spell also removes/masks any trail made by blood spoor (from wounds) as well as general passage through foliage (no bent or trampled grass, snapped twigs or branches, etc).

However, this spell would NOT mask passage caused by the deliberate or even accidental removal of items such as dropping a weapon while moving, coins spilling out from a ripped open sack, etc.

What are your collective thoughts on this interpretation?

I like your reasoned interpretation. It very well may be that neither the creator of the spell, nor the editors were expert trackers in real life, so they missed a few issues involved in tracking while believing they had the important stuff covered.
