One more thing. By all means submit advertising or other links to sites related to gaming, in particular Greyhawk (of course), in the Links section, located HERE. Just hit the "Add Link" option just underneath the center Search window. Submitted links will be activated once they have been checked out and approved. |

Banners are out for now, except perhaps as special awards. I get one, because I've gotta fever... |

Lol! Sorry, Ceb.
No worries. I'll be more careful in the future.

Thanks for that clarification, Ceb. I suppose it's in our nature to skip over the "fine print" sometimes. A kind reminder is always appreciated. |

Now, if I could just get people to read the Forum Rules regarding signatures:
Quote: |
Finally, a note on forum profile signatures. Forum profile signatures may NOT include either direct or image embedded advertisement links. Links to other fan sites, articles you like, a project thread, picture albums that adhere to the forum posting guidelines, and similar things are perfectly fine. Links to blogs or sites that are selling something, or are seeking to sell something (like Kickstarter or similar) are NOT. Those posting such links will be asked to remove them. Threads about Kickstarters and similar things should be posted in The Back Alley forum instead. |
Before somebody asks about the reference to blogs, the above statement doesn't mean ALL blogs, but blogs that are basically sales adverts (like company facebook pages and such). We have nothing against supporting those who are looking to make a buck, but signatures are not meant to be the vehicle for this. Please post your adverts where they belong- The Back Alley, and we encourage people to go full-on hog wild there. While there are no plans to change this policy, if it ever changes then everyone will be notified. |

You helped me get my signature problem worked out too!
Thank you Cebrion!
I don't care what the guys around here say about you in the future . . . you're "alright" in my book!
Naw! Nobody talks bad about you, so quit thinking that!
And thanks again! |

Cebrion,
I followed your instructions above several times and my signature is showing in the box in My Account, but it isn't showing in my posts.
SirXaris
Edit: Nevermind. It's working now. SX |

Thank you Brian---I had been using the signature (optional) field on the main Info tab and it kept screwing up all of the formatting, even when I was explicitly formatting with proper html, xml, etc. |

The "main" profile Signature which doesn't work. Here is what you will need to do:
1. Go to your "Account" page.
2. Go to "Your Info" tab (a small, brown, box-shaped icon with an "i" inside of a circle at the far left in the row of such icons).
3. Now scroll down to where it says "Upload Avatar from your machine:", and click on the text link to the right of it entitled "Upload Through Forum Profile". This takes you to, for lack of a better term, your Master Forum Profile. The Signature window at the bottom of this page is where you need to paste your signature. Once you have your signature fixed, scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the "Submit" tab, and you should be good.
It's that easy! |

So, I tried to update my signature tonight, and it's all screwed up now. I can't get it to accept the old one again either. So, is it fixable? |
