    Old style Greyhawk

Are there amongst the 3.5e stuff some really old fashioned Greyhawk modules out there? What I like is deadly mazes, intriguing riddles and high level fun. (no problems with having Demon, Devils, Daemons inhabitng my dungeons).

For 1e feels adventures, ain't nothing best than 1e adventure converted to 3.5, and wizards did just that with Tomb of Horrors and White Plume Montain (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/oa/20030530b)

They're not exactly the same as the originals but still have the feel.

P.S. copy paste the link, I still having problems with url link

Check out Goodman Games' Classic Dungeon Crawl adventures. They're all original adventures, written for 3.5, and generic, but they are specifically written with that 1st Ed. feel, even with some classic artists doing new illustrations for the modules.

I agree in general with gargoyle. GG's adventures are quite good for the 1e feel, but make sure you read them through for quality, some are definetly better than others.

I have played most of the Goodman Games modules, and I love them. They are short simple adventures, most can be played in one night. They are very easy to insert into any campaign and have the old module feeling that has been missing from this hobby since the 1980s.

I have picked up a few things that deal with Return to... and I found that they fell well short of the original. Yes, the art and some of the concepts were original but I kinda felt cheated by the whole process.

I have yet to find a “return to module” that was any good, hell even Ravenloft 2 sucked. Laughing

I enjoyed playing "The Crypt of Lyzandred the Mad," which I believe was one of the last 2E Greyhawk modules published. It wasn't a "Return to" module, but it was based on an adventure hook suggested in the original Gygax boxed set. The module is packed with of puzzles, riddles, and danger for the mentally slow. It was a hoot.
