(yes I know it's old) but does anyone know of a decent map of
A) Mistmarsh and surrounding area
or
B) Mumantadin keep and dungeons? This would be extremely useful in an upcoming game I plan on running,
thanks

Nellisir will have to confirm/deny this, I think, since IIRC he was editing still at that time??? _________________ Allan Grohe<br />https://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/greyhawk.html<br />https://grodog.blogspot.com/

No map was published in OJ11. The adventure is noted as being based on Ruins of the Mistmarsh, in the Greyhawk: The Adventure Begins book; that book came with a 16-page map booklet that I've apparently misplaced, and there's no reference to the Ruins of the Mistmarsh in the main book. I don't believe those maps/illustrations were "dungeon plans", but I could be wrong.
The best official map of the Domains of the Free City of Greyhawk that I know of is in the inside, inside cover of the Greyhawk Player's Guide, which came out in the same time period as The Adventure Begins. Mumantadin is approximately 20 miles southeast of Blackwall Keep, probably putting it on the south bank of the Neen River, above the "M" in Mistmarsh.
On Eric Anondson's central GH map (http://www.canonfire.com/cf//modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=362&mode=&order=0&thold=0) I'd place Mumantadin just above the "er" in Neen River.
Cheers,
Nell.
PS - thanks for the "head's up", Grodog. :-)

Way to make *me* feel old. I've still got all the files on my computer (not the same computer, though).

I have the maps for the adventure in OJ #11, though the images are not very clear and I can't quite make out all of the writing. Hopefully I can fill in the blanks simply by reading the adventure carefully. I have been planning to redo these maps for the OJ project for a while now, but simply haven't gotten around to it yet.
I'll probably bump this up on the agenda, seeing as somebody wants them now. All that is required is your firstborn child.
If you simply can't wait until they are redone, here is a link to the originals:
http://www.geocities.com/ket_onwall98/
The link to the maps is at the bottom of the page, as well as a list of changes that need to be made to the maps so that they match the version of the adventure published in OJ #11.
Happy gaming! _________________ - Moderator/Admin (in some areas)/Member -
