As this is unofficial, and has no special link at the top of the page, I'm providing this link to keep an advertisment on the front page.

Kinda feels like cheating Embarassed But, IMO, it is a special case. Laughing

It's impressive and heartening to see how many people, especially new posters, have agreed to chip in ideas and articles. I think we'll see a good turnout!

I have an article on Travelling Fairs written for the Gran March Project. However, the description implies that they travel through out the safe areas of the Sheldomar. I am going to use it as a intro, and detail a Faire that finishes the winter season in Seaton.

What is the coldest part of the season. Any reason a fair wouldn't travel to Seaton or Salinmoor?

I don't know what the coldest part of the season is but I'd guess sometime during Fireseek and Readying. The latitude for this area is around 25 degrees north so think Mexico and India for the climate. I can't see any reason why a faire wouldn't stop in Seaton for the winter although given recent developments they might choose to press on to Saltmarsh.

Not that it wouldn't be there, but the place is dismal, puritanical and dangerous.

So, they would probably overnight in Seaton, and move on to Saltmarsh?

Sounds reasonable. Seaton to Saltmarsh to Burle etc, making a fairly rapid route through the southern areas then back up the Javan.
