    Castle Greyhawk Adapted! For LG!

    Hey all,

Living Greyhawk has adapted Castle Greyhawk for the end of the campaign this year. Unfortunately they adapted WG7 instead of Greyhawk Ruins because it was simpler... yikes!

WG7 Castle Greyhawk Goodness, LG Style!

    No...hisssssss....It hurtses us, prescioussssssss..... :P

Seriously, when I saw that, I had to look twice to realize it really WAS a April Fool's Joke Cool Given that it looks like were in for another Fate of Istus/Die Vecna Die - style apocalyptic event to shake the multiverse as the harbinger of the Grim Rea--I mean 4e, I thought LG was deciding to go out in the style of the classic Warner Brothers cartoon "Duck Amuck" Laughing

I believe its a joke, but unlike all the other April's Fools jokes on the site it is missing the red text on the bottom confirm it was one... Check it out:

I think that's because the other jokes on the site were done by the "D&D Team," while that particular one was the brainchild of our own Creighton Broadhurst and over in the RPGA section instead of being linked from the main page. It's its own thing.

Add: this was a lot funnier than most of the other April Fool's gags, too.

    What Ho Chaps,

I'm glad some people found my little joke amusing. A disturbing number of people seem to have been taken in by it - my team even got some queries from triad members asking for more details!

I sensed somehow, however, that no one frequenting these boards would fall for it

    Happy

    Creighton,

I tried to get someone to bite here at Canonfire.com by not calling attention to the date but Pat Payne spoiled the fun Laughing . Oh well.

Happy Nice one Creighton, say where in the UK are you? Will you be attending the London Expo?

I'm in the English Riveria - or South Devon. From where I sit I can see palm trees waving lazily the breeze where only two days ago there was snow. Who says we messed up the environment?

I can be reached at creighton [at] greyworks [dot] com. If you are in the vague local area we should meet up and game!

I doubt I'll be at London Expo, but I tend to make Gen Con UK (in Reading this year at the end of August) and Excaliber (in Cornwall somewhere at some point).

I'm a little disappointed as I would have liked to see a 3.5 of it. Just as a novelty if nothing else.
