update on PPP's The Original Bottle City(TM)

After receiving input from the fan- and collector communities, Pied Piper Publishing will include the historical information and commentary for The Original Bottle City(TM) in both the limited/collector edition, and the standard edition.

The primary differences between the two editions now center on the paper quality, map reproduction format (one sheet in limited edition vs. two sheets in standard), and reproduction of the original manuscript pages (which the standard edition will not include, although it will include a transcript of the contents of the original manuscript pages).

Rob Kuntz would like to thank personally the fans who shared their opinions on The Original Bottle City(TM) historical content---Pied Piper Publishing would not exist without the support and input of its fans.

At the time of this posting, approximately half of the limited edition copies have been sold. Sales of the limited edition will continue through the end of January, or until 100 copies have been ordered.

Further details on The Original Bottle City(TM) can be found on the PPP web site at http://www.pied-piper-publishing.com/index.php/products/bottle_city

FYI folks, the limited edition of Bottle City has closed, and the standard (affordable) edition will begin selling in about two weeks or so.

The Original Living Room is now on sale, and orders that have been placed already are shipping for it this coming week.

[Pied Piper] Bottle City publishing update

    Hola folks---

I thought you might be interested to know that Rob Kuntz's Bottle City level will be going to press next week, and should be available at GenCon #40, where Rob's a Guest of Honor this year.

If you're interested in details about the adventure, you can read a summary at http://www.pied-piper-publishing.com/index.php/products/lake_geneva_castle_campaign/bottle_city

Has anyone done any reviews of these items? I'll probably pick them up for their historical value anyway, but I'd really like to hear more before I do.

Nope, since the book didn't get sent to the printers until just before GenCon; it should be back from the printer in another week or so. I think. I'll be ringing Rob tomorrow night, so I'll have more details then.

Looking forward to getting the Bottled City. But I think I will re-read Living Room and take a stab at a mini-review. I did like very much what I read. Smile

    That sounds great, Rhu. Thanks!

The BC proof came back from the printer, and Rob submitted a few fixes back to them. Sounds like he'll have it in hand next week :D

Re: Is Bottle City Done Yet? Yep, both printer proofs were approved with corrections by me as of today and we will see this shipping in a week.

Sorry for the lack of comms, been very sick recently, but trying to work through it.

Having run this at GenCon, I'm really looking forward to folks' reactions to Bottle City :D

BC is shipping and my health is slowly coming back to normal after a huge bout with pneumonia.

I will be emailing an update to all sponsors and supporters of PPP as to the direction of the company, that is, after I get the BC mailed along with all the other stockpiled orders.

My apologies for the delay and to those who haven't gotten immediate responses from me by mail or phone.

FYI, Bottle City has been confirmed as delivered today to some collectors on the Acaeum @ http://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5904&start=240 so hopefully folks will, in general, be receiving it soon (my copies still haven't arrived yet, though).

    ::pounces on Grodog::

Heya dude! Anyway, having finally gotten off my fat keister and gotten a copy of both Bottle City and The Original Living Room, I can say for certainty that these two pieces of Greyhawk history are definitely worth it! I've only had a chance to skim through Bottle City a few times (I haven't really had time to sit down and go through it thoroughly) but it is certainly up there with Tomb of Horrors and Maure Castle/Mordenkainen's Fantastic Adventure in terms of challenges. The Original Living Room is just pure fun, in a deadly sort of way. Definitely something people want to get if they dig Greyhawk in my opinion.
