The World of Oerth = The World of Greyhawk.

"Oerth" is the name of the world/planet, like "Earth" is the name of our world/planet. The "Flanaess"(which is where Greyhawk as we know it is located) is located on the continent of "Oerik".

I was joking. I have known what Oerth was since I was six.

I must correct you there, Cebrion, ole' buddy. Wink

Oerth is the world "we" live on. Earth is just the world "we" visit! Happy

    Just food for thought! Happy

Good stuff! The adventure within is way too epic level for me, but I enjoyed reading the monsters in Horrors of Hepmonaland.

Had one nitpick, however. Shouldn't the gazetteer of the flanaess articles be titled gazetteer of oerik? Neither one covers an area actually in the flanaess. Not a gamebreaker, and overall a nice download.

Welcome to Canonfire! Skaldgirl! You will find that there is a lot to see here regarding Greyhawk. Happy

As to the article and the area it is talking about , read the first paragraph again. The Glorioles form the main portion of the border between the former Great Kingdom lands and Sunndi, and the Flanmi River runs through the former Great Kingdom lands, and so "Gazetteer of the Flanaess" is the proper section for this article.

EDIT: There will eventually be a "Beyond the Flanaess" section too in OJ #26.

Welcome to the forums Skaldgirl! You do have a point. I did Ull for the Gazetteer of the Flanaess in OJ #19. Now -that- would be outside the Flanaess, no? Wink
