    Isle of Woe

I have come across mention of the Isles of Woe in several articles, but cannot find out more about them. I have tried a "search" but to no avail. Is there someone out there that can help me out? Thanks in advance.

Your best bet is probably to read Maldin's materials @ http://www.melkot.com/mysteries/woe.html which summarize the extant lore/knowledge/myths (and he adds some of his own, IIRC).

If you can find someone that has them, there was a series of Living Greyhawk modules set there. They were specials I belive, so they could be played in any region. I ran one of them. I belive it was the second one perhaps...I can't recommend it (OK, it was so lame I pitched it after running it But it did have a map of one of the Isles). But the others might be OK.

Most LG modules do not contain real maps. Usually, just some hand-drawn scetches for building and dungeon layouts, and maybe a primative sketch for overlands routes (line for river, perpendicular line for road, etc.). I've seen these modules and I don't recall anything showing their location in Nyr Dyv, or their relative sizes and positions.

I have CORS2-02 open right now. There are 4 maps.
Map A is a contour map of the whole island. It shows the locations of the 7 detailed areas of the island (some were barely detailed and did not contain encounters).
Map B is of one of the encounter areas, a cavern.
Map C is a map of the village on the island.
Map D details a tower located in the village.

COR3-02 Return to the Isles contained 2 maps of another isle (side view and plan view), but neither were very detailed.

    Hope this helps.
