Most gamers have them,
I ran a game onboard ship that actually broke out into a fight when a player touched another players dice.
Ones Ive seen...
Sitting on the dice when not in use ( to keep them warm)
Lining them up in sequence when not in use.
Only being able to roll them form a cup.
Only being able to roll on a white surface, like a piece of a4 paper he always kept with him.
Using a square to call if cocked
Ones I've heard about
prerolling 500 d20s, seperating out all the ones that rolled ones, roll them again, and again seperating out all the dice that rolled ones.
Then placeing the dice that have now rolled three ones in a row in a special foam box, where they couldent move, so the player, in dire situations where a rolling a 1 would mean a horrible outcome he could happily use these dice happy in the fact that rolling a fourth one in a row is stastically improbable.
Sticking new dice up his bum so no one would touch them later.
what Dice superstition do you or your players have? _________________ New to Grey hawk, here on my players request.
