    Village of Hommlet 4e adventure

    Shocked Wow!

I can't believe Greyhawk has made fourth edition! This was a special release.

How do we get our hands on a copy for a Canonfire review? I want one, but I am not interested in paying $74.99 as some sites offer it.

I left a snide comment in the comments box as a reply to his want for people to post gaming-related jokes.

I have a copy of a scan a friend got on-line somewhere. Who do I send it to or how do I post here? Not the best scan in the world but, readable and usable.

This thread inspired me to go ...{ahem} find... a copy and I'm looking through it now.

The town and moathouse maps look the same.
Reminiscent of the ToEE computer game, a half-dozen of the town locations have minor quests listed that award xp. You can almost see the "!" over NPC's heads. Wink

Elmo and Terjon are designed using the NPC/Monster method; an attack and two once or twice-per-encounter special combat abilities rather than full class abilities.

Many of the same monsters: giant frogs, bandits, an ogre, zombies, bugbears, gnolls, a giant crayfish, and ghouls. The bandits have something called a Rage Drake, a large berserker lizard.

Lareth has a dragonborn bodyguard. Lareth himself only has a weapon attack and two special abilities, each usable once per encounter. Cleric spells? What are they?

Similar to when I read the three core 4e books, it's okay, but not a game I'm interested in playing.

Concur, Pretty much it is T-1 in a fancier binding and, sadly, updated (but not improved, in my opinion) to 4e.
