    Herion

Just read that Hazen has been slain by a lich called Herion in 594. Google doesn't say anything about that. Is there some more detail on the subject?

Apparently, this took place in Living Greyhawk. IIRC, King Kimbertos of Keoland is also dead in the campaign.

Had his life force devoured by blackrazor, or some such no less, iirc.

Shocked I thought Blackrazor was a Faerun weapon? Confused

Forgive any ignorance on my part. Not up to date on LG, or the doings of WotC.

Blackrazor was the evil black sword in White Plume Mountain.

Imported from Greyhawk into Faerun, and not vice versa. I like that!

*The Scholar thinks a certain Hairfoot halfling should answer his e-mails*

But that's just my opinion. Wink

Blackrazor has been part of Greyhawk since before the Forgotten Realms existed as a published AD&D setting, lol.

I do not recall any forgotten realms supplements or adventures for 1e through 3.5e that mention or make use of it though.

Well, I don't know about any of that, cwslyclgh. And I've never played "White Plume Mountain" either. Sad

My acquaintance with Blackrazor comes from my Baldur's Gate II, Throne of Baal computer game, which is set in Faerun; Athkatla, Saradush and the Sword Coast.

Never having "heard" of Blackrazor before then, I assosiated it with Faerun. My bad, I happy to say! Happy

(As an aside, I think this might have been mentioned to me before, somewhere in these forums. I blame it on Bubbagump. He's stabbed me with those envenomed blades of his so often I now have . . . Alzheimer's! Razz Evil Grin )

That damn halfling is one insidious *&#@$%*! Laughing

Ah BG2, I had forgotten that they had perloined Blackrazor for the computer game (along with a couple of other swords that were from greyhawk products).

Ah ha! There are no 'innocents to protect' here, cwslyclgh -- name me some names! What other swords originated in Greyhawk?

'Off the top of your head' will do just fine, cwslyclgh, no special "digging" necessary for me. Happy

The answerer and equalizer are both Greyhawk blades (The answerer appeared in the Temple of Elemental evil as "fragarach the answerer" and "Equilizer" is from Greyhawk adventures, appears there as "Equilizer of the Gran March).
additionally the halberd "Wave" in BG2 is based upon the trident of the same name in White Plume Mountian.

Hmm actually very little is explained in the website, but probably much of the fluff is to be read in the regional modules, which I couldn't download. Is there someone who still have copies of those files?

The link was nice, but less than informative, I agree. Confused
