    Your Take On It

I am looking for information on the Duchy of Ulek. I have read the LGG and find that there isn't as much specific information as I would like. I have a character based out of there, an Elven Rogue, and in fleshing out my character I would like your take on it. Any opinions?

Forgive my ignorance since for some twist of fortune I do not own it, but does 'Patriots of Ulek' have any info on the Duchy, sounds like it would.

Good question. Roger Moore cites Patriots of Ulek as one of the "Early products of greatest use to a DM" in Greyhawk: The Adventure Begins (TSR 9577, 1998, pg. 3). I just bought Patriots of Ulek last week, and I am waiting to receive it in the mail. So, I don't know how great or terrible it is. But, it seems like it can potentially be a good source.

No, It doesn't. Sadly, it doesn't even have much info on the Principality aside from a rough map of the province where the action takes place.

It's fun, IMO, as a simple "bash some orcs" brawl adventure, but I beg to differ with Roger's statement that it's a valuable resource.

    Slightly OT:
The 2E Complete Thieves`Handbook has some interesting info on the Gryrax thieves guild in the Principality of Ulek. it is of course also a nice general source on rogues, and guilds and such...
