    Miscarriages...

It's a little odd that I never thought of this before, but is anyone aware of rules for preventing a miscarriage? For spells, I don't think the Cure Wounds series would work (for the baby, I mean). What about Heal?
I'm thinking that daily (or weekly) supervision by someone with the Heal proficiency might give a DC 20 to prevent it. Confused

The Book of Erotic Fantasy might have something in it but I thing a Heal check would suffice unless it was a supernatural miscarrige.

-Huh. There really is such a thing. Shocked

I guess it's not "official", per se, but authorized as "open content"? I found it on the internet (not sure if it's legal or not, so I won't link).

Anyway, pp. 47-51 cover whether or not there's a pregnancy, and the spells include those which can guarantee or prevent birth (or guarantee a particular sort of child), even rules on the physical result of pregnancy on movement and DEX, but nothing on successfully the pregnancy to term. Oh well.

BTW, there's a Phil & Dixie cartoon at the end of the book. Laughing

It's odd that no one would have ever come up with a specific spell, lower in level than Heal, for such a common concern. Hmmpf.
