The Styes for 5e: Richard Pett's Crooked City on Kickstarter

What began in the pages of Dungeon Magazine #121 over ten years ago is now being updated for Pathfinder, Swords & Wizardry, and now D&D 5th Edition.

The Styes was an urban horror adventure written by Richard Pett, set in a decadent, corrupt city district known as The Styes. It blended healthy doses of Lovecraft and Poe with 18th-century White Chapel seediness and quickly became a fan-favorite locale for D&D. Back then, it was suggested that the city of Prymp in Ahlissa would be an excellent choice to place The Styes.

Pett and Frog God Games are working to bring us an updated version of his earlier work (its a whopping 900+ pages!), you can check it out here on Kickstarter:

    The Lost Lands: The Blight

Although officially set in Frog God's Lost Lands campaign world, The Blight is a campaign setting unto itself that can easily be dropped into GH (Prymp, Rel Astra or the Northern Kingdom would be my first choices).

As far as I understand, the kickstarter needs to raise $75,000.00 for the hardcover PF and S&W copies, and PDF for 5e (its currently just over $62,000.00 in pledges). If it reaches $100,000.00 in pledges, a hardcover copy will be available for 5th edition as well.

There is more information and discussion here.

    Check it out!

    Very nice!

I'm always interested in 3PP products - especially those that are easily placed in the World of Greyhawk.

They passed the $100,000.00 mark, which means a 5e print version will definitely be available. There are a ton of other add-ons unlocked as well, plus all copies signed by the author if they reach $120 k. They are currently over $106 k with 22 hours left in the kickstarter, for those interested.

You can check out the kickstarter here.
