Its a webcomic by me of course. Satire of GH and the gods in general, you'll see what I mean. Enjoy.

    Thanks for the support guys.

Abysslin: I anticipate keeping a weekly schedule for new strips. Weekends preferrably, Saturdays and Sundays most often. As long as my GH material keeps up I can keep that pace, otherwise if I hit a creative wall I could drop down to bi-weekly. I wouldn't publish any less frequently though or I'll lose my audience I'd wager. So, as long as the GH community keeps buzzing I'll keeping satirizing.

This is good stuff. Easily as good (actually better, IMO) as what is published in Dragon and Dungeon. You should hit up Mona for a spot or at least a couple cameos.

Dragon or Dungeon...woo wee that would be something. Back in the day I always wanted to get something on Dragonmirth. Who knows where this will lead. Keep reading and keep pressing me.

Speaking of which, yeah abysslin, i'll look into the link thing asap.

by the by, everyone i need input. check my 'Deities' section on the navbar, I currently have pics posted of the gods I've featured. i'll continually add to the list. What sort of information would be best to go along with it?

Just a quick rundown of their portfolio and whatever quirky info you can come up with. For example (their names escape me) aren't their some gods caught up in a love triangle of some sort? Who they hate, who they like, favorite hobby etc. I'd like to see you do one for EVERY GH deity...that would be awesome.

Nice work BTW. That would be pretty cool to get this published...like a dream come true, huh?

Mort, Heronious and Hextor was great. I always wondered why they were in such opposition. The Candy Culprit. Never expected that one. Laughing

These are hilarious parodies of Greyhawk and demonstrate the creativity that the setting inspires as well as the audience-community we've built.

    Big ups Mortellan!

Probably best to put a link in your sig, that`s attached to every message you post. This webcomic should definitely be published. Did Erik Mona already comment on it? Perhaps in LGJ/Dragon ?

Yeah Erik's commented on it to me in chat, not anywhere else I'm aware of though. I'm sure by the time I build a nice body of work on this I'll get some consideration maybe for a published spot. Who knows.

    A godling weighing 98 pounds
Will get sand (and blood) in his face
    When kicked to the ground
    But soon in Ysgard
    While works really hard
    The sweat from his pores
As he works for is cause
    Will make his glisten fantastic
And with massage and just a little bit of magic
    He’ll be boolish and thaumaturgic
    He’ll be a strong man
Oh, honey, he’ll be a Kord man!

I already have a link to your site in mine, so I was wondering if I can use your new banner in it.

    Haha!

"Wastri's Woes" is by far the best one to date! No coincidence that it's also the most complex one to date. I like how you keep challenging yourself to do better!

Thanks! I'd like to do lengthy ones all the time, but week to week I never know what insipiration level I'm going to be at. As long as I get one out on time I consider my challenge fulfilled, though time to time i do push the envelope creatively. and what makes strips like Wastri's Woes cool is it was wrote by someone else, thats' half the work! Happy Anyhoo that and the one about Orcus-Demogorgon by Cebrion should illustrate that I do take idea submissions seriously. Making someone else's ideas/words into pictures is a pleasure in life.

    Hmm...

I think it would have been a funnier ending if Wee Jas had used her "ample portfolio" to seduce Lendor, but it would have been difficult to keep it a G-rated comic strip that way...

Actually, recalling GVD's Black Satin, I thought it was funny to consider that she might have been doing that, despite the absence of a sly upwards, glance.

Well, a funny thing happened at work this Wednesday....so....yeah, no comic, check it out.

    http://www.greyhawkonline.com/wogcomic/

p.s. on last week's comic, yeah I would've had Wee Jas seducing Lendor but as he is the 'Zeus' of the pantheon I felt uncomfortable having her hit on what may well be her father. Then again, this IS gods we're talking about....ah well, next time!

Another fine cover parody, see if you can identify the gods subtly featured in it. ;)

    Mort-
Who are the deities on the parody cover?...My guesses are Lolth (of course), Pelor, Ehlonna, Corellon and Mayaheine...Will any of them (along with Pyremius from the last? parody) get write-ups on the Deities Page?...

Can't get any deities past you Kwint! and yes they need to be on the deities page. Pyremius and Lolth definitely. Mayaheine and Correllon will get their chance to shine again soon. Laughing
