    Middle Oerth?

Clearly this is a Tolkein crossover but could someone explain the particulars?

Rasgon, I did not find much on that particular site. I know how Gary felt about Middle Earth but shouldn't there be a large epic style adventure that may approach something as LOTR. Most of the adventures really are quite local and those that engage in something bigger like Against the Giants or Temple of Elemental Evil lack the geographical breadth that LOTR conveys.

This is what I was hoping for in the 3rd Edition but thus far it fails
