OOPS!!! I submitted a rough draft accidentally! D'oh!!! Embarassed

Be sure to go back and check out the article again, as the intro is much more complete and coherant. Plus, the full version also contains the Affiliation for the Knight Protectors.

Despite it being a draft I have only a very minor thing about "yeomen" becoming an order of knights. It just strikes me as anachronistic in terms of cultural and social development.
Other than that, I found all the background and hard rules material to be great.

.

Wasn't that the ancient "noble act" that set th knights above petty politics and why the Overking rewarded them.

Monarchs through out time have sought to create orders of knights beholden to no one but them before; Ottoman jannasaries and Egyptian Mumalukes began as slaves and became elite "bodyguard" forces.

I know little of Aerdy and less of 3E, but I really enjoyed the history. I now like the order, seeing it as a counter balance to the other wise evilish east, yet still mantaining enough grey. Nice job.
