Lost Civilizations

Playing around with the concept of Ages in my head plus looking the materials on Wind Dukes. I was wondering what other Lost Civilizations would arise on Oerth, because of the demonic interference, it is often postulated that all of Oerth is a single progressive line up to the present. However, what if there Empires that had risen and fallen outside of recorded History. What shape could these civilizations take?

The Spellweaver civ in the Amedio mentioned in Age of Worms.
Whoever built the City of the Gods on the edge of the Land of Black Ice.
I'm sure I'm forgetting/never heard of plenty of other stuff.

I am not familiar with this. How well it is detailed? Is there a free source for it? Perhaps one mag for sale with a lot of info?

There's some info in the Age of Worms Overload pdf which you can download from Paizo -- http://paizo.com/paizo/news/dungeon/v5748eaic9jzc.
The part of the AoW that takes place there, "The Spire of Long Shadows" is in Dungeon #130 I believe.
I believe there's some historical info in the Shackled City AP. Am I right, anyone?

Presumably its the same as The City of the Gods in Dave Arneson's Blackmoor, which means its the crashed USS Beagle. Its inhabitants are an advanced human race (naturally) one of whom was Stephen 'The Rock' Rocklin (known as Saint Stephen for those familiar with The Temple of the Frog adventure).
In my own campaign, I treat Blackmoor in Greyhawk as a sort of 'gateway zone': as the PCs approach the border, they actually cross into the reality of the Blackmoor world and are no longer on Oerth. Since both have a Great Kingdom and both are known for 'travelers from distant lands' (El Raja Key, Greyhawk and Blackmoor being 3 of the best known 'crossover' campaigns) people in the know are generally blase about the whole deal.
Anyway, given the technological advantages of the USS Beagle crewmen (personal shield generators, basters, powered armour, 'Bots, etc) they would make a challenge for epic-level characters I think.

Well, conceivably (and I'm sure it was originally Gygax's intention for this to be a reference to the city in Arneson's campaign), although there was a completely different, Oerth-specific interpretation in Dungeon #126. See the wiki entry.
