    my own Cultists!

    i love the Cultists...

oh, no, not in a freaky way!
im far from being a sculptor, but the idea was in my head for 2 days, so i had to try.

with no warhammer paint , green stuff, or things like that (the right things, i must say), i use "durepox" (can find the english name, as this a trademark, not the real name of the material- it could be "epoxi") and acrilic paint (and again, i didnt had the right colors, but it could be worse!).

    here's the birth:

my wife said "oh, cute little ghosts!"

and i had to say "no, they are tharizdun cultists!"

and she said "is this some kind of KKK?" Shocked

man, thing we had to explain...

worship the blackness of my computer!

    look! no hands!

they are safe now, in a strange kitten universe!

I just saw it rossik! And I love it so much I will put it on my comic website! Anyways that's a strangely interesting idea you had...I wonder if there are minis out there that would approximate the Tharizdun cultists hmm. Kudos for being a sly cult-fiend!

    thanks , mortellan!

im just feel sorry for not being more skiled, because they sure do deserve a better representation!

you see, maybe some day, the d&d miniatures champion will choose the cultists as the miniature he whant to make real (if someone dont know, the champion of the big d&dm championship have right to "create" a miniature, so thats how we have a blackrazor miniature).

mortellan, i hope this can bring a little smile ate least, to all those who see them and understand the meaning. you comics help to make smiles, and thats a precious thing these times!

Mort vs Rossik for the Cultist Love

    Hi all -
I saw Mort's site first, then the sculptures. Awesome work Rossik.
I'm actually surprised that this week's comic isn't about how their stuck in the closet with the cat miniatures. I guess that'll have to be for next week!
The closest thing I've found is the D&D Mini's - Blood Cultists of Vol. They have red cloaks, but with a bit of purple paint they're close enough (not quite the pointy hat).
    Awesome work on those Rossik.

I found out through WoG, too.

Now as much as I hate to shill GW, their Mordheim Cult of the Possessed cultists are, look for yourself.

rossik and mort: you should mention the idea to Otherworld Miniatures, and see if they'd be up for doing some sculpting, perhaps even an entire line of GH gods figures! :D

I have always been a GW minion so it wouldn't be beyond my or my friend's ability to convert some minis(like those Mordeheim cultists) to look like the Tharizdun cultists. I think I already have the paints as a matter of fact. Lich Purple comes to mind. Now specially sculpted cultist minis would be just TOO SWEET. GH god minis that much more of course.

I like 'em...Very minimalist...The really disturbing aspect is the truly maddening proximity of the Hello Kitty sculptures...Undoubtedly those two's introduction to the Cult of Tharizdun was the Ritual of the Unending Phantasmal Indoctrination of Hello Kitty Cuteness...
