I have completed an extensive series of articles developing the Gulf of Ghayar region of the baklunish basin. I require someone to complete the national heraldry of the region. I have decided to turn it into an open contest.

Prize: Mortellan will create a custom character drawing for those artists whose heraldry is chosen and of course full credit will be given within the submitted articles for those designs selected.

Heraldic Shields Needed:
The Imperial Caliphate of Istustan
The Komal Matriarchy
The Protectorate of Mur
The Sharifate of Risay
Reich of Darak Urtag
Bakhoury Coast

A submission deadline of a week per shield design then the next shield and so on.

Shield of the Week: The Imperial Caliphate of Istustan
The shield is divided Per Pale. The shield is pale Or (yellow) dexter, deep Vert (green) sinister, and is emblazoned with an Argent (silver) spear tip (point up).

Submission Deadline: Sept 7

So is yours. Reminds me of the Hofbräuhaus in München, so I wonder where your pic is from. Memories...

Anyways, do we really need a separate thread for each shield, or even any separate thread at all? It would probably be best to keep everything together so that when the articles begin to hit only one thread needs to be linked to.
