    Cryllor

I've got a couple of questions/opinions to ask about the County of Cryllor in Keoland.

    1) Cryllor acquired "much" of its land on the western side of the Javan, Post-War, using the giant raids as an excuse. I'm running Pre-War, so I'd like opinions on who owned this land before the war - Sterich, Yeomanry, or was it just unclaimed wilderness?

    2) Just to satisfy curiosity, what happened to Count Manz, that there had to be a Lady Regent in charge by Harvester of what I'm assuming is CY 591? This info I got from a LG adventure. Anyone know the particulars?

    1. Based on the way the borders are drawn in the Guide, I'd say those were Yeomanry lands pre-Wars.
    2. I archived the following "Herald's Corner" entry from the LG Keoland site before it went down. I believe this refers to the official outcome of KEO1-02 A Little Reconnaissance.

Count Manz' illness continues to keep him bedridden as his daughter announced sweeping changes in the government of Cryllor. Several teams of adventurers were sent to investigate the caravan raids. They discovered a massive force of orcs, lead by a giant has been responsible for the lost caravans in the province, of them one team managed to kill a young giant found at the lair, a second team, which was captured, managed to sneak one of their number out of the base, providing detailed information about the interior of the lair.. The Lady Regent immediately called a general muster to stamp out this threat. Over 300 men and women of all races assembled to crush the orcs. With minimal loss of life the threat was ended, but rumor has it that a Suloise wizard was the true mastermind behind these raids. If so this individual is still at large.

Thanks man! I found the following link, much of which I assume is from official LG Keoland happenings. http://home.comcast.net/~goodwinr2/Cryllor.html

Well, for whatever it's worth, from the campaign I'm currently running in Cryllor, set in something that resembles the situation post-Wars:

The lands were formerly Yeomanry. They weren't extensively settled, but there were certainly Yeomen there, wary of the giants and orcs and such living in the Jotuns. There was a bit of trading with the dwarven enclaves in the mountains, but the bulk of their trade had been through the town of Longspear, of course.
