    Article about D&D

Since it's not GH, I put it here in the off topic area:

Cool! That article was all about me. :) He must have interviewed a lot of my old friends to get some of that information. Razz

Well, that's sort of me, but I've maintained my cover by continuing to be a soccer referee at the weekend.

Not my story so to speak I started a football player and became a geek. But than again I was never one to exclude anyone so I was pretty chill with everybody.

    A *really* cool photo!

I just wanted to say that I read this article, and I absoltely loved it. Especially the link to the author's photos of the gaming material that he'd found that spawned the article in the first place.

The pictures of old Basic Edition stuff, like old blue dice, long before the advent of high-impact plastic, with worn edges and all. And the "Blue Book" from the boxed set brought back memories of my younger days of playing - and sitting in my bedroom rolling dice that had been kidnapped from my Monopoly, Life, and backgammon games.

    Good Times™, indeed!

And cursing aloud, trying to get the crayon wax to stay in the grooves of the actual D&D dice.

    Great article.
