    Warp Wood/Heat (or Chill) Metal spell

    Just wanted to make sure that I have the spell mechanics down for these two.

    It seems that the only time a saving throw is permitted is if the items to be affected are magical in nature. I don't see it mentioned anywhere that a save is permitted if the targeted items are in the possession of somebody (as in normally the case for most spells)...or did I miss that point?

    Yeah, I was really puzzled b/c most of the time spells grant a saving throw if cast on an item or object that is being used or held.
