Duicarthan's Greyhawk NPC Archive is up and running!

Yup after much work I have the first beta version of my NPC Archive up with about 30 NPC's already done and plenty of room for more as we go.
You can either go to my webpage th old way and click on the links to navigate through www.geocities.com/duicarthan.geo (then go to D&D, then NPC Archive) or you can go directly through this link, http://www.geocities.com/duicarthan.geo/npcz/npcz.html

Hope you all enjoy, i look forward to comments, requests, and suggestions.

Yay! This is great stuff. The builds look great.
I`ll be downloading and reading all of them when i have some more time.

Minor quibble: Its villains not villians :-)
Also why do you not post them as html fro easier perusal?
Or at least as a downloadable zip-file for convenience.

Do you know dicefreaks? They would love that stuff..

As for the not completed entries:

Wasn`t Keraptis a Fire Elementalist? There was an article about his spellbook in on of thelater 2E Dragons IIRC.

I always wanted to revamp the 3E stats for the Catlord!
I had Rog/Mnk/Shadowdancer in mind, with 37 total levels (with Rogue dominant) and probably quasideity status for him. (The shadowdancer fits nicely with his ties to the Plane of Shadow and Xan Yae(also a monk!), and he had monk powers in 1E. Many of his spelllike abilties in 1E can be simulated with monk and shadowdancer.)

I also wanted to build Gord (Rog/Guildthief/Acrobat-Thief), Gellor(Ftr/Rog/Old Lore Bard), Chert(Brb/Rog) and Curley(Rgr/Drd), and some non epic personnages and of course the hero and quasigods. (perhaps some gods too) Unfortunately i have no time for such ATM.

Yeah I disnt run my spell checker at all, i was too eager to get the post out and too tired to reread the minor error there hehe. Next time I update it I'll fix that one.

The reason not for html is b/c html files ruin the stat block effect, it gets all jumbled and looks horrible, that and rtf is a lot easier to download. if i had more space, no yahell ads and a decent funding I'd have a couple mirrors of the page with zip and html capabilities, but for now thats on hiatus.

As for Keraptis, and several othr unfinished NPC's I am holding off on them until Complete Arcane comes out in case i need to make changes. When it does dont be surprised if I totally revamp a few arcane spellcasters in the list. =)

As for posting on dicefreaks, right now on the whole my NPC's are all Greyhawk based, so I chose to post here first. I may post there, though they already have a few posted on their site (imho a little too high level by canon comparisons, but oh well). I just don't want to contest their posts and seeing as this is a GH site, it was the logical choice to post here. =)

Well as i stated a few of the NPCs are awaiting the release of the new Complete Arcane book so I can see whats changed and what "might" fit several of them so by the end of this month for sure on Mordy and Lyzandred.

Cat Lords a little easier b/c he only needs tweaked from the Epic Level handbook. Anything I have posted with levels and no links are in the works basically. =)

    Slerotin

    Hello,

I have a few minor issues with your Slerotin stats. From the history i've read Slerotin died at the great rift - not on his death bed.

Also he had the abilility to do a mass feeblemind and a mass suggestion. I didnt see any meta-magic feats which would allow this or any custom spells.

Also I do not think Slerotin was involved in creating the great devastation? it was the High mage at the time in Suela.

Not sure of Mass Feeblemind, but Mass Suggestion is in the 3.5e PHB, and well within his ability to cast. I think Duicarthan was showing that he could have cast the ritual of the Invoked Devastation. In any case if you have some links I would for one be glad to see them.

Ok, this is freakin' awesome. Although I am going to take a wild guess and say that since 4th ed is out the list won't be completed.

    manus-nigrum,

Duicarthan moved the site to this location:

I would also check out the Greyhawk Magic Item Compendium.
