Diggin the new Greyhawk map (Dungeon)

    Helloooooo,

Love it! Okay, it reminds me of when I was young and looked at the Greyhawk map for the first time. The two sections were huge. I could look at the map and almost feel the cold winds blowing off the plains, hear the breezes and feel the sultry winds. You could almost smell the trees and the flowers. The marked cities were places of danger, greed, commerce and thieves guilds. Greyhawk was exciting.

I just bought the latest edition of Dungeon and for a split second, I became a child again. I love the map of the World of Greyhawk. It makes me feel that the world is this large expanse of plains, rolling hills, jagged and snow capped mountains and humid swamps. I love everything about the map....okay, showing were all the adventure locales are, not so much. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think the map is a great way to introduce my players into the World of Greyhawk. There is a whole new generation of gamers (boy, that makes me feel old) at the local game store that are starting to get interested in the World of Greyhawk. I think Mr. Mona and his people did a fine job!

You already have it???! I thought it didn't come out until the 14th. I'll have to "put the question" to a few of my suppliers. >)

The more I hear about it, the more I want to see it.

    Howdy,

Yep, I bought it Sunday night from my local retailer. Didn't know it wasn't meant to be sold until the 14th. Oh well, I'm just the customer and I know nothing, nothing I tell you Cool

Well, the magazines usually become available as soon as the distributors receive them. I just received confirmation that one of the distributors has them available as of Friday last week. Woohoo!!! So, by thursday they will have arrived.

So, your store isn't busted, they just got them in a very timely manner.

    *goes green with envy*

I really wish my issue would get here. The Paizo site says it shipped to subscribers on 11/23, but still no sign of it...

On a related note, anyone seen the Ecology of the Grimlock yet from the new issue of Dragon? Haven't seen it yet myself, but it sounds appealing. :-)

I'm really looking forward to the grimlock article, particularly to see if they have finally grown eyes, so as to match their D&D miniature.

    Heh heh. Wink

Two more days and both magazines will be in my grubby little hands.

Yeah I got my copy the other day as well. It is a nifty good map - me likey! Great use of colors, and overall just very useful. Definately looking forward to the next 3 months of Dungeon magazine.

I wonder if this map will ever be sold individually (probably through Paizo). That would be nice. I can see whay that wouldn't happen for a while, but one day it would be nice.

asking for scans is bad for you and me

Should'nt need to be said but apparently it does for some people. Asking for scans of published copywritten material is not cool and will result in staff action on the users involved.

    Thank you.
