Chapter 6: The Yatil Mountains

The Yatil Mountains were home to some great Gygaxian adventures – The Temple of Tharizdun and The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth. It was also noted that the Yatil Mountains once served as "the very heart of Iggwilv's old dominion." That led us to wonder about Iggwilv's fate after defeating Graz'zt. She was weakened and was forced to flee. Like any good leader, she no doubt had a back up plan. So, we envisioned her teleporting to a backup lair in the Yatil Mountains as the basis for Chapter 6 of the Great Flanaess River Adventure.
In this case, as the player characters make their way by canoe down the Velverdyva River, they come across a lair of gnomes who give them lodging. There, they learn the gnomes, while expanding their lair, came across an unknown tunnel in which they found lurking a demon. They have since walled over the tunnel entrance, but if the player characters are willing . . .
And there they will find Iggwilv's fall back lair and the denizens who safeguard it until her return.

I'm actually partial to Abbott and Costello & the Marx Brothers, but either way, I get to be the "skinny white guy" (AKA Abbot and Groucho)!
