One of the founders of our hobby and one of the most unsung contributors to Dungeons & Dragons, Len Lakofka has passed away at the age of 76.
Along with the many adventures, classes, spells, and rules he created, Len was also father of the Suel in Greyhawk, designer of their gods, and namesake of the Lendore Isles.
The value of his work goes without saying, but his presence will be sorely missed. The adventures of Leomund go on.
A much-expanded version of The Living Room was just released! Received my copy very fast. Thrilled to see Kuntz, Ward, Carr, Hammack, and Stormberg working together :)
I got mine also. It's quite expensive for a 32 page module ($37, as I recall), but the exploratory depth of the encounters is absolutely worthy of the older Rob Kuntz stuff. I really love adventures which enable/presume deep exploration of the environment.
Kuntz was meant to have a near photographic memory of dungeons, and so always seemed to know where he was, and where he had been and hadn't. Useful skill for a real adventurer let alone in DnD. There was a reason Roboilar was such a survivor ....
Didn't know Mike Carr has a new adventure coming out. That's super awesome! _________________ The eternal war between Law and Chaos flared often in Greyhawk... But the laws of Chance will let neither gain full sway. Quag Keep, Chap 1&2
