One thing about HackMaster(TM) is it assumes muchly that everyone will play in the "Garweese Wurld" and therefore all the hooks to the play setting lead to it, such as Gawds and Garweese specific races and beasts.

According to the HackMaster(TM) Player's Handbook on page 13, removing such 'hooks' from the rules and replacing them with Greyhawk specific ones could be viewed by some as being a "rogue-GM" by the HackMaster Player's Association.

So if you're willing to overcome such a stigma, I'd suggest just removing "Gnome Titans" from any version of GreyHack if you want to stay within a canonical Greyhawk milieu.

I haven't really read through HackMaster(TM) yet, but I disagree with your point about removing things such as Gnome Titans. Unless you are writing for Living Greyhawk, or some other -official- project, who cares about canon greyhawk? Greyhawk has never suffered from an overabundance of source material, and I think that any new ideas that can add to the campaign should be welcomed and adapted.

Some aspects of HackMaster(TM) may seem to overpower core D&D, and there might be worries of breaking the balance in the setting, but wasn't the same issue raised when 3e D&D came out? The DM, or whatever the gamemaster is called in HackMaster(TM), is fully capable of adjusting the power level of any game system to fit with her greyhawk campaign, as we have seen in various people's converted material for games like Runequest or Champions over the years.
