infact this article was rejected from dragon, but I do not believe it is because of the balance of the spells (I base this upon the fact that when I first submitted it they asked me to submit it again several months (nearly a year) later, with no changes to the spells, of course during that time the Draconomicon (3e) came out, making many of my spell ideas somewhat redundant, and thus the over all article less desirable.
