I've tried to walk the line between presenting material that's usefully extra-planar in nature, without unduly working within the cosmology of my campaigns too much: some of the Firstborn/etc. stuff may push a little bit too far in the direction of being less-universally useful, but in general I try to make the planar stuff things that you can plug-and-play with minimal tweaking.
