My previous Greyhawk campaign - the County of Ulek one - involved an invasion of possessing spirits whose malign influence warped their original hosts, the Fomorian Giants, into their current form. The inspiration for my take on them came from Michael Moor*****'s second series of Corum books.
Interesting article. At odds with my depiction of them, but that shouldn't be that surprising. :)
