SIRYN'S WHIRLING SWORD DERVISH

Duration: 6 rounds +1/lvl

Explanation/Description:
When this spell is cast the caster causes a pile of swords (1 sword/level of caster) to rise into a whirling column of slashing blades. Each blade attacks everyone n the area of effect as a fighter of 1/2 the spellcaster's level and doing damage as per the type of swords animated. With concentration, the caster can cause the Whirling Sword Dervish to move amazingly fast (12"), directed by the caster's hand movements. If moved against creatures, they will be subject to attack as above. Any creature which tries to move through the Sword Dervish will be AUTOMATICALLY hit by all swords!
Only the following spells affect the Sword Dervish:
Forget: causes 1-4 swords to drop to the ground harmlessly
Web: slows the Sword Dervish for 1-6 rounds
Dispel Magic: causes 1 sword/level to drop into a pile if successful
Haste: doubles movement and # of attacks but halves duration of spell
Slow: halves movement and # of attacks but doubles duration of spell
Disintigrate: destroys each sword which fails save vs. disintigrate
Time Stop: stops the Sword Dervish for duration of the spell
The material componants are, of course, swords. They do not disappear when the spell expires.
