When I initially talk to a new player interested in joining one of my Castles & Crusades campaigns I invite them for a discussion on Discord. To determine what kind of roleplaying style they prefer and set expectations. To determine if the potential new player will be a good fit for my game style and with the other players in the group.

Hello David, is it possible to join one of your campaigns with a group of my friends? We are really interested in playing with you. I checked your YouTube videos and especially the Greyhawk campaign is very interesting. We as a group usually play Pathfinder and D&D and have a little experience on C&C but I think we can manage it. The only problem is I'm staying at my property in Turkey at the moment and there can be a time difference so we need to discuss the details like this. It would be an honor for us to play one campaign with you!

Hello, thank you for your interest in my AD&D (C&C) campaign. Time zones are a little confusing but good shows me that GMT+3 is only 2 hours behind PST. Or did I get that "+3) wrong? I may be interested if the voice connection and language is clear.
