Hi everyone,
I'd like to start a discussion on the planet Oerth and it's place in our Electric Universe.
Once the Oerth was flat. Then it was round. And then people erroneously believed that the sun circled the Oerth along with it's planets and moons. The Oerth was believed to be in the Center of the Universe.
It was no longer in the Center of the Universe, but was part of a larger organization called the Milky Way Galaxy. It was believed that the Milky Way was the only Galaxy. Except it wasn't. The followers of Celestan found that there was many other galaxies in the larger Universe.
The Greyhawk philosopher Newton, a follower of Celestan, philosophized on the Law of Gravity. And soon the Law of Gravity came to explain the movement of the moons, the sun, and the planets. It's only a piece of the puzzle. As soon as the Celestians have things all figured out, we find that there was another piece of the puzzle. It's a big picture, with many pieces.
Then the devotees of Celestan discovered a force that is ten to the thirty-ninth more powerful than gravity. Once the Celestans believed that Space is empty, however, they now find that it's teeming with charged particles. As the Celestian Spelljammers continued to explore space, they find that perhaps that Gravity wasn't the dominate force of the Universe, but something else entirely.
The Spelljammers learn that there isn't a Crystal Sphere that extends out to the edge of space, but a great electric dynamo that powers the Sun electrically. The Celestan spelljammers return to tell the Celestan astronomers that there is a "Solar Wind" that drive their sails.
ME:
Sorry, this is half written but I wanted to start a conversation about Oerth and the electric universe. I'd like a discussion, so since you were so forgiving on my discussion about slavery, I thought I'd turn to science.
Science actually informing Fantasy. I'd like everyone to watch this movie so we can be on the same page.
This movie is also helpful. I want to discuss the Electric Universe as it applies to the Oerth. Yes, some of you will bring up established science, but I'd like a discussion. I'll first say that the Electric Universe theory is simple, and explains what we've been getting from Deep Space. In the end, this can turn out to be an article in the future.[/url]
