Help - powerful satyr clan reference

Please help me - this is driving me crazy!

I recall reading about one of the archmages (I think it was Tenser, but it might be Mord or someone else) and the text said something liked 'where he befriended a powerful clan of satyrs' - I think it was in reference to Rieuwood.

Something like a description of the wizard and referring to some of his allies. I think it might have been in an LGJ issue but not sure. All my google searches are coming up empty and all the books I can think of, have not yielded a result.

So in case someone out there knows - please help!
