Hello All,
Until a few months ago, Ivor was heading up our Campaign Arc Department. As part of the overall Gazateer, we wished to create a 1st to epic level adventure series. Ivor has outlined some of this on the Gran March website.
However, due to unforseeable circumstances, he has had to back away from the project. I have recruited several new participants to assist with the project, and we will be posting their names in the near future, once they get signed on to Canonfire. They have enourmous experiance with D&D and with campaign/adventure/encounter building, but limited GH experiance. I need to recruit a GH Sage to assist them. I have established a playtest team here in Georgia.
However, this group has decided to take a slightly different tact for our adventure. There we will be three Adventure Paths, one adventure, one war, one political.
The first will be a traditional adventuring adventure path, heavy on the hack and puzzles, light on the politics. This will most likely be a streamlining of Ivor's existing proposals. This will be compatible with the core books.
The second will be a War campaign arc, based on the system described in Hero's of Battle, by WOTC. This will take place in on the front lines of the Giants Campaign in and around Hochoch. This will be heavily Mission oriented, with some politics and adventuring.
The final path will be a political intrigue, with some adventuring, based around Hookhill and the Knights of the Watch. It will utilize the systems identified in Dynasties and Demogogues by Penumbra Press.
The interesting part is that the team has already begun drafting a flow chart for the plots which will allow a DM, and sometimes the players to choose to move back and forth between the threads, enjoying distinctly different styles of play.
All the adventures will culminate in a single massive epic adventure.
So... Who is up to helping this group through the hornets nest that is GH Canon?
