One of the things that drags Greyhawk down, is the lack of great artwork when compared to the Forgotten Realms or the paintings that jump out and what you to know the story as in Dragonlance.

Where have people found fantastic fantasy art that tells the story of Oerth? As I like to use visual props when telling a story.

I enjoyed Jeff Easley's illustrations in EGG's two TSR GH novels, as well as most of his work in Greyhawk modules.

I've always liked Sutherland, Otus, and Trampier's work, in general, too: Tramp's renditions of Hommlet really help to bring that setting alive for me. _________________ Allan Grohe<br />https://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/greyhawk.html<br />https://grodog.blogspot.com/

Clyde Caldwell did the covers of the first two Gord Books. Both were very nice. To put it nicely, 2e Greyhawk art was for the most part nauseatingly bad.

In the 3E era, Wayne Reynolds has put a face on the evils of Eli Tomorast, Iggwilv and Graz'zt. Eva Widermann also does great character work for Paizo on Greyhawk related projects. There still needs to be someone who can do set pieces of Greyhawk landscape/ architecture to go with simple portraitry like Elmore does.

I actually look at artists like Boris Valejo or Frank Frazetta when looking for Greyhawk art. I like the Swords and Sorcery feel of GH and I think those two artists capture it. _________________ Agape,

That would be something to see! Of course I try to play with a more S&S feel so that is the art I use for inspiration. _________________ Agape,

William O'Conner's cover art for the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer is one of my favorites as anyone can tell from my avatar. _________________ I write; therefore, I am!

					Hail and well met, gang!

Computer neophyte here! Anybody have a "link" to some of this artwork you're talking about?

It would be much appreciated. _________________ Mystic's web page: http://melkot.com/mysticscholar/index.html

Look up various cover art for Greyhawk products. Otherwise do a search on the artists' names that are mentioned. Most artists are wise to the ways of the internet, so a search should pull up lots of info on their work.
