Sea of Dust

In the future, my PC will have to go into the sea of Dust to trecover an artifact. Is there any published module/adventure/canmpaign that would have the right feel for it ?

I have been thinking about the Desert of Desolation but I think it has to much of a basis "desert" fell to it instead of an area beyong destroy by magical means (where it should be much more harder- Closer to Dark Sun setting?).

What do you tyink ? any suggestion ?

Depending on how much time you want to spend there, and if you don’t mind crossing under the Hellfurnaces by route of the Amedio, I would recommend the AD&D Module UK6, All That Glitters. Part of it is actually set in the Sea of Dust ... sort of. See module locations http://www.canonfire.com/cf/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=6.

You can find a description of it here:

I forgot about this one. Here is a link to a free e-module with an artifact set in the sea of dust.

Large parts of the Gord the Rogue novel Sea of Death take place in the Sea of Dust. I found this book to be very inspiring when I ran a group through an adventure in that area many years ago. Certainly not an adventure module, but after reading it you get the right feeling for a campaign in that place.

I've never gotten around to running it, but I've always thought that the DarkSun boxed set "City by the Silt Sea" would make a great Sea of Dust setting.
