**Canonfire Postfest*** Its on and the Due Date is May 14th

Ok, sorry for the long delay in finalizing this folks. But let us not that dampen the enthusiasm!

We are going ahead with the Postfest. The topic is: Magical Items and Artifacts of the World of Greyhawk.

Write up a short item with a history or background in the World of Greyhawk Campaign Setting. Anything you wish, as long as it has a touch of Greyhawk in it. Keep them between 1-3 CF pages (roughly 250-750 words), but whatever you think is necessary. Any edition (or no edition) is fine for the rulesystem.

And yes, two entries are okay.

Please submit them as regular articles (not appended to this thread). To do that, make sure you are logged into your CF account and go to this link to submit:

http://www.canonfire.com/cf/modules.php?name=Submit_News

Put POSTFEST: in your title, so we know its not a regular article.

Then all the articles will be posted together on May 17th for everyone to enjoy! If we get a good turnout, we will do this again very soon (there may be a secret door prize too...more on that later).

Questions, comments, instructions are to be posted in this thread.

And thanks to people like Lillith for getting us off and running!

That is the shortest timeline I have yet seen, but please don't let it discourage you. My bet is that if it is submitted before everything is posted together (which might be late), it will be accepted. It can't hurt to ask and if it doen't make it into the 'fest, it can still be published eventually. So write you hearts out. Anyway, most of us had plenty of time to write before the 'fest became official. Except for last minute changes, mine has been done for weeks. Wink

"Cryptical Armaments of the Hool: Squall and Contumely" is about 1100 words, but it is two items.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else does.

Well, you don't have to wait for the official announcement. "Polish" your Cube anytime you want! Just...not in public. Happy

We have only 4 submissions with 8 days left. Spring Fever is OVER. Get going slackers!

I think too many people are busy polishing their cubes.

Speaking of which. I could prolly get Gary to polish the cube of anybody that reaches the amount of submissions GVD is currently at. Keke!

No one should try to catch up to GVD, it's madness I tell ya. Then again I could do a 97 part series on the finer points of Ull culture. Eyagh!
