Shadow

I was re-reading the City of Greyhawk sourcebook a few days ago and stumbled against this mysterious thief (assumed to be 20th level or so) that sacked the Jacynth artifact from the coffers of the crown treasury in Rel Mord.
Has anyone ever explored the character more deeply?

I was reading the new Kobold quarterly today and while reading the new Shadowdancer p. class from the upcoming pathfinder manual that NPC immeditaly sprang to mind. While the idea of having it being a shadowdancer sounds a bit cliched (and way too Forgottn Realms for my taste) it definitely makes sense.

Or not?

The only thing I can remember seeing is an older article here on Canonfire about the Jacinth of Inestimable Beauty that briefly mentions that the Shadow is a female half-drow, at least 16th level, and a master of disguise (a half-drow would need to be).

Here's the Article

I could definately buy into her being a shadowdancer, its a good fit for both her nom de guerre, her race, and her profession.
