Cloud Islands of Oerth

Have there been any adventures detailing floating cloud islands, just as storm giants often inhabit?

Lendore comes to mind, of course: "Whenever seriously threatened by their rapacious neighbors, the heirs of Lendore would remember his promise of an aerial sanctuary, and gather at the Gate of Glass outside Lo Reltarma."

I believe Liberation of Geoff includes a section with cloud islands.

And now my brain begins to devise the Cloudsea, a severed sea trapped within a floating cloud island. Maintained by a covey of storm hags, the sea is replenished by tendril-like waterspouts it drops down to the seas below.

Dark Clouds Gather, one of the "UK" modules (forget the number). Excellent module, keeping in line with the UK series.

As DMPrata said, Against the Giants: The Liberation of Geoff includes an adventure on a cloud giant island.

Other sources include:

AC10 Bestiary of Dragons and Giants
AC11 The Book of Wondrous Inventions
Giantcraft

Not Greyhawk-specific, but there's "Terror in Skytumble Tor" from Adventure Pack I (which I used in my Sunndi campaign). I think there's also an adventure with a ki-rin on a cloud island in one of the Book of Lairs supplements.

There's also a mini-module called "Death From Above!" in Dragonsfoot's Footprints #10 that features a pair of cloud giants and their flying castle.

There's also an optional add on for a cloud island in the Queen of the Demonweb Pits.

"The Plight of Cirra" in Dungeon #9 may also prove worth investigating: PCs hired by a cloud dragon to rescue its mate from an archmage (although I don't remember any specifics about the cloud castle offhand).

Not Greyhawk, but the Sci-Fantasy RPG Skyrealms of Jorune is a great source for information/inspiration about floating islands in the sky. I use Jorune inspired material extensively IMC, particularly floating islands in the Sea of Dust. Matter of fact, my Sea of Dust is heavily influenced by Jorune above and Dark Sun below, which makes it different and cool IMO. Wink I thought the Gord description to be rather "blah" but YMMV.

Oh wow, I don't know why I never thought of that.

I love Dark Sun but have never considered using its material in a Greyhawk campaign which is especially odd considering that I love tie ins with the Suel Imperium. Thanks for the idea Dammerung.
