Greytalk problems!

What is going on tonight? I get logged into Greychat, and then kicked right back out. I have been in and out again under MasterArminas, Arminas, and a greyguest???? but this is the first time this has ever happened? What is going on?

This is extremely annoying. I get in, get involved in the talk, and the room flashes and I cannot log back in. I am calling it a night and will try again next week. Because I have a headache now.

You need to give us some info. Using a pc? Using a IPad/Kindlefire/whatever to chat? Using what browser? Did you update something lately? Did php.nuke update something lately that you haven't done an update for? Do you need to update/not update your browser? Etc. etc. etc. Need the info to even begin to guess! Laughing

Clicked on the Greytalk Chat Now! (with Java) on the left side of the screen, Cebrion. Using the same laptop I have since I started chatting here, no new updates, no new software. I use Internet Explorer.

I did finally manage to get in by going to Mibbet and searching for Greytalk--and doing it that way I had no problems. I have bookmarked the page in case of future difficulties. I don't know why it was 'skipping' because I signed on the same I have in the past.

Well, all I can say is that you are not the only person who has had problems getting hooked in. Seems that the problems ramped up after Otherworlders made some changes. We've been unable to really nail anything down as to an exact reson, anc can rally only tell people to try different things, hoping that something will eventually work. I personally have used mIRC or Java, both on Internet Explorer and Firefox, and have never had any problems.

Big C
like masterarminas I too ran into similar issues last night. I wonder perhaps its the amount of traffic the "Otherworlders site" might be able to handle?
With more users coming to site and maybe to Greytalk??
I have changed nothing and my connection would not "connect" either way at all. I akin it to the old bulletin board days when the board reached saturation and the room was "full" so to speak... may be a similar bottleneck? don't know.
It was 22:00 central give or take used mIRC and Java, both on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome if that helps at all.

Will try again abit earlier next time too.. maybe there is a "peak traffic"?
