Queen of the Spiders Supermodule Question

I Have the original G-D-Q adventures, but I am thinking about getting the compilation, mainly due to an interest in the additional material, and that it is a continuation of the Temple and the Slavers supermodules as well(which I have DM'd for my current group of players).
What I would really like to know is simply what the hook/tie-in is to Scourge of the Slave Lords and/or The Temple of Elemental Evil. If anybody knows then sends me a PM, as I wouldn't want to ruin anything for any potential players or DMs. You don't need to be too elaborate- a brief description is fine. Please offer your opinion of the compilation compared to the originals modules if you know them well.
Thanks.

Thanks to you both for the info. You helped me make up my mind.
IT MUST BE MINE!
Thanks again.
My players pass along a groan of foreboding as they contemplate what is in store for them.

Happy to oblige. Hope your campaign rocks (or is that boulders...?)

Well, the G series sure will rock!!! Literally. When I went through it as a player, one of the characters in the party was hit by four boulders in a single round, two of which were CRITICAL HITS!!! He was smashed to a gooey paste on a cavern wall, as one would expect. Poor mage. At that was just the in G-1! overall it was a very challenging series to complete; one that I wish to pass on to the players in my campaign.
I think they are going to be learning to hate me in the near future...
Sorry Yabusama, I deleted the PMs that were sent to me, otherwise I'd summarize for you. I will be getting a copy of it very soon from SV Games. You orderr it on-line and they send you a disk. I ordered every Greyhawk module/supplement that I do not have, plus a few others that i remember as being interesting. Never forget the Basic/Expert/Companion/Masters D&D modules. There are some really good ones in there as well. B4 The Lost City is very reminiscent of what the Lerara could have become. Chatdemon did some nice updates/conversions of the various deities contianed in this module for his "Forgotten Gods of the Suliose" series.
