David Trampier...dead?

I wasn't sure if this topic has been posted yet...I couldn't find it through the search function.

It's sad news, if true. His illustrations are part of the reason I got into fantasy art.

His art always stood out to me in the Monster Manuals. He will be missed.

Sad news. Most people equate 'Wormy" with the name "Trampier', but he was much more than just the comic strip, and I am glad to see so much of that out on the various blogs/sites. Among those early TSR artists, Dave was one of the truly skilled ones. Cartoons, paintings, pen & ink (in different styles even). There wasn't anything he couldn't do well. I wish we all could have had more from him, but I think I speak for everyone when I say that we are all very thankful for what he did give us.

Well said purple lighting. Another piece in the cog has passed. I'm telling you D&D tables are being set up all over the outer planes. Dave's work will continue to be an inspiration for all of us.

Rest in peace Trampier.
