There may be some differences in the code required between forum (BBCode)and website(HTML). You may find two types for designating image size.

Tried a few options there, and the image would not alter. Not sure why. You could always shrink the image and link to the smaller image.
Edit: image displays smaller now, though the pixel count is the same. Perhaps a change in resolution?

There are a number of pdf's out there that provide code lists and examples of their implementation.
