Name that woodland

If you make a triangle on the Darlene map by connecting Chathold with Jalpa and Prymp, an unnamed forest will be found within its borders. Does the woods have a name? I'm looking for info on it.

Thanks to all.

There are a few other small, unnamed woods, generally in proximity to other larger timberlands that they've presumably separated from over time due to logging or whatever.

The forest you mention is not, however, one of those remnants/spurs from larger forests, and is named The Bone Wood n Kent Matthewson's "Ivid the Undying" map at https://www.acaeum.com/library/ivid_composite_map.gif and the wiki entry is at https://greyhawkonline.com/greyhawkwiki/Bonewood

Allan.

Per Ivid, that forest was called the Thelwood until the change in the early 580s (“Shortly before the outbreak of war”) resulted in its renaming to the Bonewood (as Allan pointed out).

And if I can jump into this discussion:

There were two CF articles on this forest that were submitted in a Postfest a long while ago.

There was mine, the Thelwood Horror:

http://www.canonfire.com/cf/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=431&mode=&order=0&thold=0

And another one by Peteroui:

http://www.canonfire.com/cf/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=419&mode=&order=0&thold=0

Even though these were two totally separate takes on the area, they seem to complement each other. Check them out! The only canonical information I believe that is out there on this forest if from Ivid the Undying, though there may have been mentions elsewhere.

At any rate, it is an area open for developing in your own campaign.
