I'm looking at the Temple of the Frog by Dave Arneson and David J. Ritchie. I'm wondering on how to set this adventure in Greyhawk. It's written for Blackmoor, though. I'm also wondering if I should purchase it. It looks pretty tempting to get.
I ran this module several years ago using Blackmoor within Greyhawk and we had fun with it. I made it a Temple of Wastri located within the Cold Marshes.
Other locales could be the Vast Swamp, which has a known Wastri following, and the Hool Marshes also come to mind where you might loop in a Saltmarsh campaign arc. With Greyhawk, you can make it your own wherever you place it!
DA2 is less formally connected to Greyhawk than other Blackmoor module locations, although it appears on Canonfire's adventure locations map and countless DM's have surely tossed it in swamps across the Flanaess.
Ritchie can get long-winded, but it's a good module with a MacGuffin and a cult town/temple/dungeon in a swamp with fun surprise elements.
LGG co-author Weining gives an alternative adventure hook in Oerth Journal 5, with a short paragraph on an abandoned "Temple of the Toad" for Wastri's faith. I'm inclined to keep Temple of the Frog in Greyhawk's Blackmoor and move Wastri's Temple of the Toad to the Vast Swamp or somewhere.
