I know that Kara tur is Forgotten Realms. Does GH have an asian world in it ?

Yep, Kara-Tur. In the original AD&D OA book Kara-Tur is the far west of Oerik. When the boxed set was released, it was moved to FR.

You know I thought so. I vaguely remember it being GH in the beginning.
I think keeping it GH is a ok to me. Is there litature on the Cannonfire site of Asian Greyhawk?

IMO, Kara-Tur needs to be mapped as part of GH before it could be "reclaimed," as the FR Kara-Tur is oriented to the East while in GH it would be oriented to the West.

While not universally wonderful, Kara-Tur has some significant bright spots.

Interestingly, Kara-Tur completely disagrees with the Dragon Annual Map that most people seem to accept as Western Oerik.

If you ask me, Greyhawk doesn't need an asian realm. Looking at the two major settings that have, so far, attempted to shoehorn every possible real world cultural analogy on to their globe, the results are a rather poor mish mash of half developed ideas. FR and Mystara both fail to adequately represent all the cultures they decided to adopt. I'd prefer an Oerth that properly develops what is there, rather than recklessly tries to cram in everything and everything.

I, for one, am glad Kara-Tur got -stolen- by FR.
