Drow of the Underdark: Erelhei-Cinlu revisited

Hey All,

I saw from a report on D&D XP that one of the selling points for Drow of the Underdark is a revisitation of Erelhei-Cinlu.

Scroll down on the following link to see the slide from the D&D presentation:

What do you think this will be? A serious look at the setting or is this going to be Saltmarsh al la DMG2, only underground...

I hope it's going to be based on the article by Fred Weining in Dragon #298 (and its sequel in Dragon #300). That was a very good, serious look at the setting.

I liked Fred's take on the vault, but I can't honestly call drow mimes serious Laughing

I loved the mimes, but granted - they're not as serious as other aspects of the city.

I agree, the vault articles were amazing. Mimes aside, I was happy to see a mature and progressive take on a gay character - the first explicitly gay character in an official Dungeons and Dragons product (I think it's the first).
